Sales Assistants – Full time and part time

Location: Marlow store and all London Stores

India Jane is a unique and well established, eclectic homewares retailer. We specialise in aspirational, classic and timeless ranges of furniture, lighting and home accessories.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for experienced, talented and professional Sales Assistants who have a passion for interiors, to deliver retail excellence in our London stores. Reporting to the Store Managers, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service whilst at the forefront of representing a well-known interiors brand. In return we will offer you training and development, as well as the opportunity to progress in a business that can match your career aspirations. 

Salary: Commensurate with experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensuring excellent customer service whilst meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Offering advice and guidance on our products to customers on the shop floor and on the telephone
  • Providing a wealth of product knowledge to customers
  • Identifying sales opportunities and introducing link-sales
  • Maintaining the shop floor to sufficient standards including replenishing stock, accepting deliveries, cleaning and pricing
  • The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment

Trade Sales – Furniture & Interior Furnishings

Location: Wembley Head Office

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Expanding sales with an active database of accounts
  • Seeking new business opportunities and exposure of the brand
  • Ensuring excellent standards of customer service and product knowledge in our trade showroom and on the telephone
  • Maintaining the trade show room to sufficient standards including maintaining stock displays, cleaning and pricing
