Full Time Assistant Manager: Guildford

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in the day to day running of the store in our newest location in Guildford. With at least 2 years previous Assistant Management/Senior Sales experience within a top end retail environment, Strong motivator and the ability to step in as the team leader in the absence of the Store Manager.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To communicate effectively at all levels as required
  • To understand and report store performance figures through financial processes when required
  • To understand, train and apply all administrative processes
  • To play an active role in the sales team product knowledge to achieve sales targets
  • To support the Manager and develop the store team through specific feedback
  • To support the Manager in increasing the store‚Äôs customer data base
  • To manage and apply the appropriate company disciplinary procedures when required, in the absence of the Manager
  • To make decisions on customer cancellations pre delivery/customer returns in the absence of the Manager
  • To support the team to minimise the level of customer complaints within store control
  • To be aware of, understand and support the Manager in ensuring staff follow all company procedures in the staff handbook
  • To understand basic consumer rights under current legislation to manage customer expectations
